We will use the information that you provide to us to provide you with information you request, or to provide the goods that you have requested. This will involve e-mailing you to confirm your order or on other administrative matters.

Except where you have opted out of such use we, or one of our agents, may also contact you by email or post (or telephone/fax) to inform you of other new services, products, or offers that you might find interesting. Cookies
We use two cookies on our site and neither store any personally identifiable information.
The first is set by each page to be 'true'. We then test this in view my basket to check that cookies are enabled.
The second is used to store the contents of your basket. It stores the product number and the quantity you have ordered.
Both cookies are "session'" cookies which means that they are stored within your internet browser (ie Internet Explorer) and not on your hard disk. They are deleted when you shut down your browser.

Monitoring and Log files
We may carry out other monitoring to assess the popularity of different parts of the site and to improve navigation of the site, but such information will not be merged with your personal details.

Email a Friend
If you choose to use this facility, we store the email addresses and the names entered together with the relevant ‘link’. Your IP address is also stored to prevent abuse of this facility. We may use this information to inform you of other new services, products, or offers that you might find interesting. Security
We have implemented several security measures to ensure that your personal information is protected. We use encryption where appropriate and a firewall to prevent third parties from accessing your personal information and other physical measures to prevent unauthorised access to your personal information.
We use the services of Secure Hosting Ltd., Unit 31 Cranfield Innovation Centre, University Way, Cranfield, MK43 0BT, UK to handle all credit card transactions. From our web site checkout you make a secure connection directly to Secure Hosting, and your credit card details are sent directly to this site. We access the Secure Hosting site via a secure connection to collect our orders and confirmation that payment has been made successfully. Your full credit card details are not available to us.

Data Retention
We will retain data for a period commensurate with conducting our normal business and different types of data will be retained for different periods.  For example Monitoring and log files will usually only be retained for one week, however data relating to orders will be held for a number of years.

Disclosures
To comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, we reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to operate our systems properly or to protect our customers and ourselves. We also reserve the right to disclose individually identifiable information to third parties where a complaint arises concerning your use of the website or our services.

Your rights
You have rights, under the Data Protection Act 1998, to ask for access to personal information we hold on you. Please note that if you wish to request a copy of information held on you, we may ask for proof of identity.
